Ultrarunning
Ultramarathons are some of the most gruelling events on the planet. Any run greater than a standard marathon, at 26.2 miles, is considered an ultramarathon, but many are much longer, taking in 150-mile routes through the desert, or 350-mile trails across the Arctic. We’ve been fuelling racers in the Marathon des Sables since we started, as well as runners in 4 Deserts, the Peruvian Jungle Ultra, the Arctic 6633 and more. Racers regularly face brutal physical discomfort, including extreme blisters, chafing, blurred vision and dehydration.
