Climbing
It was once said that climbing is as close as humans can get to flying. That’s certainly true for climber, Leo Houlding, who regularly free-climbs up vertical rock faces, then base jumps off the top. One of his latest expeditions, which we created bespoke meals for, took him to the top of The Spectre — the most remote mountain in the world, in the heart of Antarctica. He’s often joined by tree climber Waldo Etherington, who grew up just around the corner from Firepot HQ. Waldo’s been to the top of the tallest redwoods in California and climbed amongst the tropical canopies of Borneo, acting as a rigger for film crews.
